With sunshine and calm waters finally reaching us along the Salish Sea I found myself reaching for colors that mean summer to me: Watery blues, beachy creams and tans, shimmering pinks and whites, driftwood greys, and the greens of seaweed and kelp.Nautilus is the first of two one of a kind necklaces that were a result of that burst of inspiration.

Ever notice that gardens by the sea seem to have more flowers, more color, and a certain lushness? It must be the cool breezes and moist air. That's why I call this one Gardens by the Sea.

Beautiful work, I love gardens by the sea! :)
Both are gorgeous and you really get that "on the beach" feeling looking at them!
Really beautiful pieces. Summer is a cool bluish green to me when I'm thinking of the beach and as it gets hotter - it's orange and yellow.
I have a "garden by the sea" so it sure gets my vote! Nice piece...
Glad I stopped by!
